Popular Comedian Seyi Law Blasts Pastor For Cursing BBnaija Sponsors

Comedian of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (CFR) Seyi Law has called out a Port Harcourt-based man of God, Pastor Mike Winning, after he rained curses on the companies sponsoring Big Brother Naija show (BBNaija), which is presently airing on well known Cable TV, DSTV (Channel 198).
Trouble started when Pastor Mike Winning made a post on his Facebook page as he placed a curse on the sponsors of the BBNaija show, which is seen by many to be vulgar and raunchy as well. This singular act from the man of God prompted Comedian Seyi Law to blast him. The dark-complexioned star took to his Instagram page to bare his mind on the matter. He made it clear that he was not in support of the show however the pastor should have known better to pray that type of prayer in private rather than in public.
According to the Instagram post, Seyi Law said: “What a joke of a Pastor. Did Jesus lay curses on those who turned His Father’s house to a market place of all sorts or He just rebuked them. Some of all these people who call themselves Pastors actually think they are God o. Oga Ade, go and have a rethink abeg and ask God for forgiveness. I am not in support of the immoral acts in Big Brother Naija, but as a Christian when the devil brings darkness, you shine your light. If you don’t like what they protray, change your channel.
Pastor, please organise your own Big Christ House and give money that will change the followers of Christ’s lives and see if men and your father in heaven won’t praise you.
Pastor talking like Nigeria Government, why is Big Brother Naija been held in SA when they have refused to create an enabling environment to allow businesses to thrive. You curse kor you close ni. Long Hisssssssssss.
These types of prayer are for your closet not public, Mr. Pastor. Praying their resources should run dry. Ah ah, Pastor, do you know how many are on the employment list of Payporte and Dufil, the makers of Indomie? You are a wicked man. Pray a better abeg.”

Mother Of Missing Doctor Believes He Is Still Alive

The mother of Dr. Allwell Orji, who is the 35-year old medical doctor that jumped into the lagoon on Sunday evening, is still trusting God and believing that her son is alive according to close relatives.

One of the relatives who spoke to reporters at their Abule-Ijesha family residence in Yaba said: You people don’t know what we have been through since yesterday. Please, respect our grief. This is not a case of a grandfather that died and we want to celebrate it. This whole issue has been difficult for us. The mother is up there, not talking to anyone. Not even us who are very close relatives. People have been around her since yesterday so that she doesn’t do anything drastic. She has yet to accept that he could be dead. She doesn’t even accept people’s sympathies and condolences. As a Christian, she’s believing God that a miracle could happen and that her son won’t die. She believes he’s just missing and would return alive.”

Meanwhile efforts to recover his body from the lagoon yesterday didn’t yield any tangible result as men of the Lagos State Emergency Mangement Authority (LASEMA) are still searching the lagoon for his body. The General Manager, Adesina Tiamiyu who was at the scene on Monday afternoon, confirmed this to newsmen adding that he is not aware of any suicide note said to have been dropped by the deceased. In his words, he said: “We are still searching for the body. We have expanded the search to go further than the point it happened. We have told local men around to watch out for any floating body and we have engaged local divers to look around for us. Patrol boats are in the water going round. We would continue to search for him. The family is traumatised at this point and unwilling to speak on the issue. I want us to respect their wishes please. We have established contact with the family and expressed government’s sincere wishes to them. We would also go back at a time they feel better because we would like to know what happen so that Lagosians and Nigerians can learn a lesson or two from it. It’s an unfortunate situation. But what do we do? The driver is with the police. The police would be more involved in the investigation. If we are able to pick one or two things, we would pass it across. I am not aware of any suicide note. His phone and car are with the police.”

We Can Seal EPL Safety In Four Games, Burnley Star Boyd Reveals

Star winger for English Premier league (EPL) side, George Boyd, has charged the club to continue their impressive season by securing league survival over the next four games in the next one month.
The Clarets as Burnley are popularly known will begin the four successive away league games at Boyd’s previous club Hull City at the weekend (Saturday) with the aim of winning at the KC Stadium for the 3rd time in the EPL era before further trips to resurgent Swansea City, title hopefuls Liverpool, and relegation threatened side Sunderland. With a 10-point advantage in the battle for relegation, Boyd is adamant the pressure will be on the away sides presently haunted by relegation (aside Liverpool). In his words, Boyd said: “The pressure is more on them than us, we’ve got that nice gap.”
“We want to get our away record going. It’s a great opportunity in the next four games to be safe. We could get our safety in the next three or four games so that’s the main aim.”

Burnley have been very impressive this season and have already surpassed the number of league wins from their last season in the EPL (2014/15 season – seven wins). In addition, they just need just one goal and three points to equal the total goals and points from two years ago respectively.
Boyd further reiterated the hardwork put in by the club since the start of the season. He said: “We’ve worked so hard, to get it done this early would be a massive achievement for the team and the club.”
“The sooner we can get it done the better.” he added.
On his return to former club Hull City, the 31-year old said: “We’ll go there and hopefully get the three points and put them in even more trouble, that’s the main aim.”
“It’s always nice to go back. There’s been a bit of a squad overhaul there now and there’s not many left (from my time) but it will be nice to go back and it’s most important we get the result we need.”
“You get a lot of foreign lads come in and it can take time to gel but he (Marco Silva) seems to have got them in straight away and they’ve picked up some results.
“Hopefully we’ll stop that.” he concluded.

NYSC Introduces Monthly Biometric Clearance To Check Ghost Members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has introduced a biometric technology for the corps members’ monthly clearance in South West, a development that will expose those who absent themselves from their places of primary assignment.

The Director General of NYSC, Brig-Gen Suleiman Kazure who stated this in Ibadan at the opening ceremony of the training workshop on Biometric Clearance of Corps Members in Local Government Areas in SouthWest with the theme “Ensuring Accountability in Corps members activities using ICT, said that biometric technology will not only address absenteeism during service year but will also address the problems of irregular signatures leading to non-payment of monthly allowance, and poor collation and storage of data of corps members.

The training was organised for all heads of corps inspection and monitoring branches, ICT desk officers, zonal and local government inspectors of the South-West.

Kazure, who was represented by NYSC Director of Corps Welfare, Mrs Victoria Okakwu said, “This new process has received great ovation from the public for its positive impact in areas such as elimination of sharp practices perpetuated by fraudulent individuals and reduction of errors in our data and workload on our staffs, corps memners and other stakeholders.

“Furthermore, the improvement on the new process also brought about the introduction of the use of biometrics for mobilisation and registration of corps members at orientation camps which has not only helped in fast tracking the process, but also reduced impersonation and registration in prozy including ineligible graduates.”

Kazure noted that the feedback from the North West zone, South East zone and the two pilot locations of Lagos and Abuja had been very encouraging and positive, adding that he believed that South West zone will also be successful.

He said the training was organised to give participants the requisite knowledge in the IT-based clearance and monitoring of corps members to eliminate the practices of payment of allowances to corps members who are not on ground to serve their father land.

The NYSC boss urged all official of the scheme to shun any act that may be detrimental to the success of the innovation.

In her speech, the NYSC Director of ICT, Mrs Christy Uba said the biometric module was designed to embrace adequate monitoring and monthly clearance of Corps members.

According to her, it keeps record of absenteeism, checkmates truancy, impersonation and other vices which tends to undermine the aims and objectives of the scheme.

4 Easy Ways To Cut An Onion Without Crying – Health

Many people have been wondering what really causes one to cry while slicing onions. Well, the reason is very simple. As we chop up onions, it releases enzymes that act as catalysts.

When these enzymes are released they form a type of acid which reacts with the air – the resulting gas hits your eye, reacting with the fluids to create sulphuric acid, which burns. This leads to more tears as your eyes tries to get rid of the stinging.

So you ask how can you chop an onion without crying? Well there are a few tips and tricks you can try to prevent sobbing every time you need to cook up an onion-filled dish.

Ways To Chop An Onion Without Crying

  1. 1. Light some candles
The idea is that the flame will get rid of some of the fumes which causes the gas. Without them, you shouldn’t have as much of a problem.2. Freeze it first
Freezing the onion in the freezer about 15 minutes before you chop it also hels reduce tears. The cold is supposed to stop it releasing the molecules which cause all the problems. Also, slicing an onion in water works too.It apparently draws out the compounds, meaning there aren’t as many to react with your eyes.

    3. Use a spoon
Putting a spoon in your mouth while you cut your onions will stop you from crying. These method works because the chemicals bind to the metal of the spoon before they can get to your eyes.

    5. Chew Something
Most people suggest putting a bit of bread in your mouth, with part of it hanging out, others suggest chewing gum. Chewing gum also helps as it makes you breathe through your mouth, which disperses the irritants more. That means less get to your eyes, so you won’t cry.

Xenophobic Attack: Niger Delta Militants Ready To Shutdown MTN, Dstv, Others

A coalition of Niger Delta militants on Wednesday threatened to blow up Multichoice (DSTV), MTN, Shoprite and 16 other major South African investments in Nigeria if the Federal Government failed to close them down within one month.

The threat is contained in a copy of a letter addressed to the Office of the South African High Commission to Nigeria located at 71, Usuma Street, Off Gana Street, Abuja. Signatories to the threat letter are General John Duku (Niger Delta Watchdogs), General Ekpo Ekpo (Niger Delta Volunteer) and General Hart Bradford (Niger Delta Strike Force).

Contained in the letter titled ‘Attack and Killings of Nigerians Living in South Africa’, the militants expressed anger that the South African Police were shielding criminals and joining them (criminals) to kill Nigerians.

Apart from MTN, DSTV and Shoprite, some other South African companies in Nigeria listed for attack by the militants are Eskom Nigeria, South African Breweries (SAB Miller), Umgeni Water, Refresh Product, LTA Construction and Protea Hotels.

“We want to state that the recent attack (on Nigerians in South Africa) will mark the end of this nonsense because we will not fold our arms and allow this to continue. We, therefore, call on the Nigerian Government to immediately close down all the businesses owned by South Africans in Nigeria.

“Failure to close down these companies within one month, we shall mobilise in full force and commence massive attack on the above mentioned South African-owned investments in Nigeria. We shall also make sure that all MTN masts and offices are brought down to naught.

“We shall strike any property and persons from South Africa within our reach; we will bring down Multichoice (DSTV), Shoprite and others. We will not fold our arms and watch you (South Africans) slaughter our people like chickens for no just cause.

“We are fully prepared; our professional fighters are already strategising, South Africans must be crushed in Nigeria; our people must be free from these wicked agents.”

Viral Photos Of A Father And His Five Beautiful Daughters

Too many melanin pooping in one pics…

These adorable photos of Mr Macauly and his pretty five daughters are currently trending online and have got lots of guys drooling.

In his words:
“In a world where overt materialism has taken precedence over all, where the desire for money, to be something in the socio-political and economic realm has permanently confined us into the constraints of tug for supremacy and its hegemony. Where all the isms and thesis are breed into our mindsets from infancy we loose track of our role here, that our existence as a being is to pro-create and leave seeds that shall germinate and bloom. The richest man is not that which his pocket is full of money, but that which his offspring blossoms in unity and spirituality!”
